~ 42" wingspan. ~ 27" overall length. ~ 375 sq.in. wing area. ~ 13 ounce flying weight. Completely updated with new refinements. The Park Hawk is a CAD designed, CNC manufactured RC ornithopter.
This latest version of the famous Park Hawk ornithopter comes with a new gearbox and main frame design and is lighter yet more resistant to crash damage. This new Park Hawk also now comes standard with a high KV brushless outrunner motor and brushless ESC and is designed to fly on 2 cell lipo packs.
Includes the standard Kinkade "glide-loc"device. It can alternate between flapping a gliding flight at your command.
Features exclusive shock mounted O-ring tail system for added durability. Wingsail and tail are made from top quality zero porosity, UV resistant, polycarbonate coated rip-stop fabric and Dacron. The fuselage frame is CNC machined from durable G-10 epoxy-glass which is weather proof and extremely resistant to crash damage. Kit features solid carbon wing spars, delrin gears and precision machined parts, large choice of colors, high efficiency design. Assembles in one evening with basic hand tools and there is no real gluing required. Blue loc-tite or other thread lock product recommended for securing screws on flapping mechanism. May require soldering for motor connections. For 3 channels: rudder, elevator, and motor control.
