The new Slow Hopper is freshly designed and production is underway.
The photos here are of the original Slow Hopper prototype to give an idea of its layout but it has been refined and upgraded for production.  New photos of the new machine are coming soon.

Introducing the Slow Hopper!  The Slow Hopper is an ornithopter with two sets of flapping wings!  The wings flap out of phase with each other giving an interesting appearance and unique flight characteristics. Easy to fly and very stable.  Unlike our other mono-wing ornithopters, the Slow Hopper has no specific wing position for gliding so no glide lock device needed.  When one set of wings goes up the other goes down so gliding is very simple.

 Like some sort of giant insect, the Slow Hopper is sure to attract attention at the flying field!
